1988 Escort RS Turbo S2 Project…
“Due to lack of time I have decided to sell this escort r/s turbo 1988,this escort was virtually rust free when checked over ,it has had a section of floor pan replaced at sometime however the cills were ok as can be seen in photos and sunroof opening is solid again photo to prove,the engine starts first time and the head was rebuilt and a new camshaft fitted it could however do with tuning .the brakes have new calipers and discs and the rear has been converted to disc with new calipers ,discs and handbrake cable.the suspension has new springs and shock absorbers all round and new rear arms and front arms also new track rod ends.new battery,alternator and starter motor and new alloy radiator ,also the petrol tank and pump are new.new front exhaust pipe,the interior is ok as is the body work although I was going to flat and polish the paint, it needs a couple of tyres to rear however I was going to get a set of turbo wheels and tyres,there is no spare.the electrics are requiring a small amount of work as the rear wiper has no power to it ,the drivers door mirror doesn’t work and the abs dash light is on,all the lights and indicators work, sunroof works ok,there could be a few bits to do that I have missed as there will be new bits fitted that I have missed as I haven’t been able to work on it for a few months although if has been dry stored.viewing welcome however tyre kickers don’t waste my time or yours,cash or bank transfer on collection, no buy it now .private plate comes with it.v5 in my name.”
