1981 MK5 Ford Cortina 1.6 Carousel

How about this for a rare Ford Cortina… a Carousel! Produced in 1981 and this particular car was first UK registered on the 1st August 1981 on the new ‘X’ plate with the registration number SRJ781X.
Based on the ‘L’ models, extras on the special edition Carousel included a fashionable two-tone metallic paint scheme with my example being finished in Graphite Grey over Strato Silver with a Grey ‘York’ fabric interior. Along with the special metallic paint scheme other special features included Sports road wheels, head restraints, remote control for both the driver and passenger door mirrors, simulated wood fascia with instrument light dimmer and tripmeter and intermittent windscreen wipe.
