Ford Escort Mk2 Fast Road / Track Car fitted with 16V Vauxhall redtop on Twin 45s. Quick little car which has recently had a good bit of money spent on it. Starts runs and drives well
Body – Mk2 Escort shell with additional strut top plates and under wing strengtheners. 5 Linked at rear and turreted. Big tunnel fitted. Good solid car . floors , inner wings, sills, pillars all look original. Has been tubbed and X Pack fitted. Paintwork is very tidy and has Ari Vatanen replica decals fitted. 4 Cibies fitted. All glass windows with rare opening quarter lights.
Mechanics – 16 V Vauxhall XE Redtop on New Twin 45s, New Nodiz ECU, 5 Speed Type 9 Gearbox, coilovers all round, Adjustable top mounts, adjustable TCAs, vented discs, compression struts, rear disc conversion, atlas rear axle with Watts linkage, braided hoses. Slight oil leaks from sump and back of gearbox but customer has supplied a new gearbox oil seal and a semp gasket set.
