The Special Ones… Jonathan Round’s Ford Escort RS Cosworth
Whilst there are plenty of images online to show just how nice Johnathan Round’s Ford Escort RS Cosworth is, it’s not until you actually see it in the flesh that you can really appreciate just how stunning it truly is!
For us, that day was in July of 2021 at the RS Owners Club regional day at Croft Racing Circuit, where we were displaying the Mexico on the same South Staffs RS Owners Club stand as Jonathan, and boy, did it stand out!
The level of detail on the car is breathtaking and it’s obviously a labour of love for Jonathan who has owned it for 23 years. In terms of spec, it’s a 1996 ‘N’ reg small turbo model running a Graham Goode 305 chip, larger fuel pump, hybrid turbo, full stainless exhaust and Helix clutch.
