We were out with some Oval Owners and North West AVO Owners for National ‘Drive It’ Day today. Started off at Alderley Edge, then headed over the Cat & Fiddle and onto Bakewell, then to Matlock Bath. Fantastic day, thanks to Mark Doherty for organising. Highlight was when we parked up in Bakewell, a nice gentleman and his wife came over to us and it turned out to be Triple Motoring News, BTRDA and Welsh Championship winning Rally Driver, Mick Briant! Spent the next hour listening to all manner of amazing road rally stories from back in the day. Great day had by all.
