MK2 Ford Escort 2.0 Pinto

1978 Ford Escort MK2 Factory 2.0 car which was imported from Australia about 6 years ago. Very solid car which drives really well and has recently had a bit spent upgrading it.We have the V5 here but not a lot of other paperwork.

Body _ Australian built heavy duty shell with similar strengthening to our RS models. Original inner wings, strut tops, sills, pillars, rear arches. Very good shell. No signs of any dodgy patches underneath. Paintwork is perfectly presentable. If you want a show winner youd need to paint it but very presentable as it is. Quarter bumpers, rear spoiler fitted, good grille, Harrier stripes fitted. Strut top number clearly visible but chassis plate looks a home made job. We have no doubt this car is genuine as we know the last two owners.

Mechanics – Factory 2.0 Car which were available in Australia. 5 speed box fitted and standard running gear. Car starts, runs and drives well with no nasty noises or rattles.

Interior – Cortina GLS front Recaros fitted, ghia wood dash, good door cards, Rear seat looks to have been recovered. No rips or tears.

Wheels – New JBW 7″” RS4 spokes with good tyres.
