Fully Restored 1989 Ford Orion 1600E with RS Turbo engine

1989 Ford Orion 1600E with RS Turbo engine…

The restoration started in 2017 on a very clean shell. The car was fully stripped, all parts labelled and marked. It was then put on a rotisserie. Any rust that was on the car was cut out and replaced. The car was then fully sand blasted underneath and in the engine bay before being painted with epoxy primer then fully stone chipped underneath.

The underneath was then fully painted and lacquered along with the engine bay.

The rest of the shell including the original front wings were then painted and lacquered along with the inside of the vehicle in this stunning raven blue metallic paint.

It has an RS Turbo bonnet and an RS Turbo 90 spec bumper .

As with all the Orion E’s it has full leather interior which is in excellent condition and fuel/trip computer.

The wooden door capping and wooden trim in the dash have been painted black and lacquered (to make it unique)

It has an RS Turbo engine and gearbox which were fully stripped and rebuilt and has since only run a few hundred miles so is still running in.
