This very smartly presented RS2000 is one of the desirable Custom models and has recently benefited from a full nut and bolt rebuild, during which its Pinto engine was completely refurbished and the interior trim, headlining, alloy wheels and tyres all replaced with brand new items. Finished in white and upholstered in black cloth, the RS has had a total of six keepers to date, the most recent of whom has owned the matching numbers car for the last two years. Bearing in mind the work carried out, it is perhaps unsurprising that he currently rates the 2-litre engine, five-speed manual transmission, two-door bodywork, paintwork and interior as all being in ‘excellent’ order.
