“completely stripped it as was in need of a full restoration, a lot of the welding had been done by the previous owner and we just completed a couple of bits that were left, it has had new floor pans and sills aswell as the rear arches which were done by the previous owner and then as can be seen in the pics some filler thrown on very badly and not rubbed down but wouldn’t be hard to sort out . The engine and gearbox have been reconditioned and have not been fitted back in the car yet, everything is there to rebuild the car barring a few items such as the water pump,starter motor and maybe a couple more small items that I’ve forgotten but nothing serious as all was removed from a running car and put aside, The only reason it’s in here is I simply don’t have the knowledge or skills to complete this project and the guy who was doing it for me is no longer in good health and has had to give up his garage due to his poor health so now the car is tucked up the corner in my unit. All the underside has been undersealed and the engine bay painted . All it really needs are a the bodywork prepped and painted and then everything putting back on the car, ( original colour is grey )there are even lots of spare parts to go with it including x2 sets of wheels. So all in all to the right person who knows what they are doing this is an ideal project as a lot of the work has already been done.”
