1986 Ford Escort RS Turbo Series 1 displaying its original registration number it was given when new as C489 AST. The car has just been subject to a full rolling road set up by Mikeanics of Congleton along with a full service, oil, fuel filters, boost & all injectors cleaned, tested & set up along with full replacement of all fuel lines, the car comes with a full rolling road dyno printout.

Originally supplied by Ford Cordiners Cars ( North ) it was owned by the supplying dealers daughter for several years before being sold to a Graeme Buchan who owned for over 25yrs & was the custodian who oversaw a full & thorough restoration over a 4yr period between 1995 & 1999, its attention to detail is without question & is better than when brand new.

Its last penultimate custodian owned the car for over 7yrs where he literally took it to several shows where it became a well known winning car until he reluctantly parted with it over the covid years to its 4th & current owner who is a company Director of a multi National company & simply does not have time to show, drive or enjoy it as it deserves……
