BBQ Project? What’s The Best Think You’ve Ever Seen Made Out Of An Old Ford?

When this MK2 Ford Escort back end cropped up on eBay our first thought in the office was ‘BBQ project!’

Can you imagine how cool it would look having this in your back garden, all tidied up with a boot on it, some lights, a bumper and a nice reg plate – then you just invite your friends round, open up the boot and hey-presto, there’s a BBQ inside… all you have to do is light it up, throw on some burgers and sit back in the full adoration of your mates for having the best barbie ever!

OK, it would need a bit of thought, could you paint it if it’s going to get hot? Same might go for a boot spoiler? But you get the idea – it’s doable. We’ve seen a few BBQ’s made from car parts… but never an Escort! Have you? If so get in touch, we’d love to see one!
