I don’t know about you, but when I took an early morning drive out in my Ford Escort RS Turbo back in the late eighties, the first place I went was the local University river bank to watch some posh students lift a boat into the water. I’m not entirely sure what it said about my performance, but it was great fun tearing up the grass as I spun up the front wheels, turbo chattering all the way until I made it back onto the tarmac. ??
