“I have a business in Hartlepool dealing in, exclusively, Capris and Capri spares.I’ve been fortunate enough to buy this Cosworth powered Capri and I’m genuinely unsure what to do with it. Pre-accident, it’s been a real jewel. HPI clear. No insurance company involvement. Still runs and drives. Originally a Laser, it’s been properly converted. 2.9 24 valve Cosworth with Emerald ECU. Starts on the button with superb oil pressure. Five speed, fully rebuilt LSD, New single leaf springs, front coilovers, all polybushed, new exhaust, very recent tyres. New brakes. Superb interior. Lovely, complete, Superb 280 Brooklands interior, new moonstone headlining. Power steering. All panels are excellent as are the floor and chassis. New tank and pump. Uncracked dash. The damage has not caught the chassis leg so the panels needing replacement will be: o/s outer and inner wing, one end of o/s front valance, bonnet, bumper, headlamp bowl. Few bits of trim and lights. I have bonnets, wings (used) bumpers, bumper ends, lights. All the gaps are still good though the wing has obviously gone back and catches the door. The doors are excellent. Straightforward repair. ”
