This Particular car is an early Sapphire Cosworth with Ford moving on from the 3 door Sierra Cosworth to the 4 door saloon version, this one was Dagenham registered and the first owner being Ford Motor Company. The bodywork is in very good condition with a very good shine and only a few minor age related marks which adds to its originality. The interior is in impeccable condition with the cloth Recaro seats near on unmarked with very little visible wear. The standard 15″ alloy wheels are wrapped in matching Hankook tyres with good tread all around. Under The bonnet lies the Cosworth YB turbo engine with its standard turbo still intact but recently fully rebuilt, this car has had a stage 1 chip on but otherwise still very standard and the infamous turbo heat shield is still intact. The amazing 2wd drivetrain is something to behold they really nailed it with these the T5 gearbox selects gears perfectly up and down shifting, and the limited slip differential is perfect with just the right amount of lock up so the back end sits down under acceleration which still brings a smile to my face now. There is a large amount of service history with this car a lot of paperwork and MOT’s dating back and the all important original book pack.”
