“August 1987 (E Prefix) this excellent low mileage and most original 280 Brooklands Capri has been with its most recent keeper since May 2000 and has had very little use during his 23-year period of ownership. The limited-edition 280 Brooklands was the last iteration of the Capri; ending a 20-year model lineage.1,038 examples were ultimately built, with this being number #0069. It is finished in Brooklands Green (the only colour produced). The Brooklands boasted larger 15″ alloy wheels and our example has the fully optioned Raven Black leather interior. Powered by a Cologne V6 engine developing 160bhp with a 5-speed gearbox, limited-slip differential and powered rack and pinion steering. Our example benefits from a Full Stainless-Steel Exhaust. This is a highly original car (complete with full original bookpack) which until recently has been declared SORN; consequently we will be carrying out a full recommission with cosmetic detailing.”
