1979 MK2 Ford Escort RS2000 Custom

Finished in Solid Black with Black interior our RS is the more desirable Custom model and was registered on 22nd of May 1979. After some investigation, it appears in 1981, it suffered an accident that resulted in the car being re-shelled. Thankfully our RS appears to have lived a fairly quiet life since, passing between owners every couple of years and living for the most part, around the Midlands area.

We believe that the car was comprehensively restored a few years ago and it has just undergone an extensive recommissioning at the end of last year.

The odometer is reading 35125 miles although we have no evidence to prove or dispute that, this isn’t a 1 owner car, so we assume that it is probably 135125. That said, the MOT history shows that it has only covered 997 miles since 2006.
