“1977 Mk4 Cortina 2.0 Ghia in stunning Roman Bronze with tan vinyl roof, and black velour interior, the car has a genuine 40,670 miles from new, and was registered in March of 1977 meaning it was made within the first 6 months of the Mk4 being the new shape cortina after the MK3, making it a very early one, i bought the car 9 years ago from an elderly chap in Peterborough, he bought the car in 1989/90 from a used car dealer, and traded in an Opel Ascona, he used the car for little over 12 months, and when his daughter began to learn to drive he did not want her driving it so put it away in the house integral garage and left it there dry stored for 24 years until i bought the car 9 years ago, i then put the car into my garage and there it sat for another 9 years until the last couple of months, meaning it has been dry stored 33 years! i was too busy with life and other classic cars i own and left it on the back burner, i had to buy it though as its in outstanding condition with no rust at all and very low mileage.”
