1975 MK1 Ford Escort 1300

Looks like there’s plenty of room for improvement with this 1975 MK1 Ford Escort 1300 two door, imported from South Africa.

Seller listing states “This is a very solid original shell. Late Mk1 escort 2 door shell. Good original inner wings, strut tops. floors, sills, arches, pillars. Looks like its only ever had a minor repair in the spare wheel well and at the bottom of the lower front panel. Minor bubbling on wing bottom but overall a very original shell which has not been got at. Paintwork is ok but no show winner. Car started life beige and was changed at some point. Front quarter bumpers fitted, bullet mirrors, original chrome trim round windows. Car has a glass type sunroof fitted

Mechanics – 1300 crossflow which starts no problem. Original 4 speed box and running gear. Starts runs and drives and was being used prior to export. As with any old car if you were going to use it in its current form it will need a good checkover.”
