1974 MK1 Ford Escort RS2000

This 1974 MK1 Ford Escort RS2000 has been off the road for over ten years!

Seller listing states “Genuine Avo car with rs2000 BFAT chassis number, Factory black which is very rare;

•Car has been off the road for over 10years.

•Starts on the button and drives well but would require light recommissioning if you were planning on using it on the road after being off it for so long.

•This is an original unrestored example, still has factory under seal and interior has never been touched.

•Shows signs of having had a respray, at a guess I would say possibly 10/15years ago.

•There are a few small rust bubbles (LH quarter) and scratches around the car as to be expected from an unrestored 50+year old car. 

•Car is by no means rotten. I would personally recommend sympathetic recommissioning trying to keep as original as possible, certainly wouldn’t require a full rebuild. 

•Separate keys for ignition/rh door/boot/fuel cap. Key for lh door seems to be missing. 

•Unfortunately previous owner lost the service history during a divorce.

•6 previous owners and I have a new V5C for the car.

•Really good genuine car. Have nothing to hide at all.“
