“This is a South African import, I brought it to the UK in 2016. The engine and body were fully restored from scratch in South Africa in 2016 and car is completely rust free, benefitting from living in the dry climate most of its life. Rolling on brand new deep dish MK1 style alloy wheels, brand new leather seats and panels, new upholstery throughout, 6×9 speakers in the parcel shelf, fuel tank in boot, you also have the Kent 1300 X-flow engine with drilled out bore holes for a little more power. It was tested and tuned on a rolling road in November 2020 and is pushing a whopping 90bhp but there is huge room under the hood for modifications. Since the engine rebuild this car has not been driven, other than to the UK MOT test centre and around the car park of the garage where it was worked on.”
