“This is a very presentable car with some period mods. The car is fitted with a 1500GT Cortina pre-crossflow so keeps up with modern traffic.
It’s got period Lotus Cortina steel wheels with new tyres, Capri uprights and disc brake conversion (new discs, calipers and pads this year). Its got the double front anti-roll bar fitted. The interior has been retrimmed in red with fishnet Recaro’s up front. A recent Smiths rev counter has also been fitted, along with new red carpet. Being the Super, this has the interior heater. This is a rally homage style and is a 50+ year old car but it is solid where it counts and has been undersealed and wax oiled as the body is very presentable. It always gets good comments, but obviously there are some marks and imperfections on the paint.”
