172 BHP 2.0 Pinto Built By Jon Toovey Race Engines

2.0 Pinto Engine which has been fully rebuilt by Jon Toovey Race Engines…

This engine had not done a lot of mileage to start with but was given to Jon Toovey to rebuild/refresh and replace any parts that need replacing. It has been built on the stronger 205 block and it has an injection head. The bottom end has been lightened and balanced. The engine has been tested and run in on the dyno with peak power reading 172.4BHP @ 6800RPM, and max a Torque of 161.2 @ 5100RPM. Pulls nice and strong right throughout the rev range and has been built for nice drivability, therefore would be good for a fast road car or rally car. Genuine RS2000 Ali sump, rebuilt carbs, it is running on a standard distributor, might benefit from electronic ignition, but still ran sweet.
